Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?

Thankful Thursday
This is starting to get to the stage of using random words, but not entirely random...
Today was the somewhat dreaded but somewhat relieving exam hand back day. Dreaded in the way that you will get a bad mark and relieving in the way that you passed and its all over for another time.
First up was IT except I didn't get my result because the teacher had 'accidently' forgot to mark my paper because he couldn't find it. Some people really make you wonder...
Next was chemistry and surface chemistry for which I both got 85% which was one of the highest marks. After that was English where I did better than I thought, I even got 18/20 for one of my essays dog which I had only written a bit over half a page where I was supposed to write 2 pages.
Finally was electronics which I got 100% for. My teacher had rechecked the paper multiple times in the hope of catching me out on a mark.
All up, I'm happy with my results so far and can sit back and relax and wait for the rest of the results tomorrow.
On another different note, the female mind is one of the most unpredictable, curious, thoughtful, confusing and easily triggerable things in the world. One minute they could be all happy and bouncing around (heh) and the next they'd be all depressed and slightly angry the next, all entirely out of the blue.
Curious indeed.

Wonderous Wednesday
There's not many words starting with W...
And yes, today was great. Exams are finally over, pity its only for a few months and theres more.
I had study leave (well actually up at work fixing hot water pipes and some major renovations) and then Japanese and REPD. Both were pretty easy but took a while.
After school I went back up to work to continue on the renovations a bit. On a side note, I'm starting to like Mike a bit. He's done a great job on the plynth, though I still say he's done some silly things. The sparky is coming on Sunday to check all the wiring and then we can bring it all to life, over 6 months in the making.
When I was at home I had a little play with MSN again. This time I found the storage cache for all the display pictures and custom emoticons, which resulted in me writing a small app that copies someones display picture and sets it as your own. It can be fun for a few things but can also be annoying for some people depending on what their display picture is, which I found out the hard way (sorry to that person if they're reading this). Which led me to uncover another 'secret' of the female mind, when they're not happy they will usually snap real bad and continue snapping until they're certain you know you're sorry.
But as the shirt says, 'boys are stupid, I throw rocks at them'.

Misty Monday
Through out the day it was either raining or misty, mostly misty. And initially very foggy. So foggy you couldn't see 10m in front of you.
I spent most of the day at work doing many things, ranging from removing viruses and doing some plumbing to aralditing inflatable beach balls and trying to find the phone number of the cordless phone (which ended with me calling every possible number on the internal phone system (001-999) until I found the right one).
Fun indeed.
What was kinda cool was that the cordless phone had enough range to reach from the Mitchell St end of Discovery right up to the front enterance of the Marketplace.
I'm working tomorrow morning too until about 1:20 which is when I have to walk to school for my maths exam.
Yay.

Working Weekend
Pfft why post on both Saturday and Sunday when they're both the weekend.
And really the title says it all, working all weekend.
On Saturday mornings I work at Jaycar and in the afternoon I normally go orienteering except this time I went up to Discovery to work. Lucky me is working tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings (*cough* study leave *cough*) to do some major renovations and construction.
Where I would normally go orienteering on Saturday I went today mainly because today was a state series event down in Castlemaine, since I'm technically supposed to go to regularly but they're normally down Melbourne which is too far.
All up, yay for the long weekend, yay for study leave and yay for working all day tomorrow.

Focussed Friday
And that's about all it was, focussed on exams.
First was english, which like every other year was crap. One short descriptive writing piece and two long analytical essays. For the standard exam 'what the', one of the essays was guided with questions, in the conclusion: "How do the main points from you paragraph relate back to the essay question?" My response: "They answer it."
I think I did alright.
Next was Business Management. 20 pages long, 100 marks, finished and had 30 mins left. It was very easy. 'What the' moment: "Describe what these business support services can help you with:
a) An accountant"
Yes, that's alright
"b) A professional association"
...?
Some people need to be slapped, hard.
On a different note, it's been pouring down with rain almost all day. So pouring that I was absolutely soaking wet when I got home and could have had a full shower just by stepping outside.
