J... July
Holy crap, it's another post.
With a dodgy title...
So today is the last day of the month of July.
A fair bit happened in this month, considering it was a whole month.
As mentioned in the previous post, the Discovery wireless node is now up and running giving coverage of most of the CBD. There was a little incident that occured during it's installation, involving a fully extended 11.5m vertical skylift, a bit of wind and my arm. Draw your own pretty little mental image of that...
Not fun.
After recovering from all that, the holidays rolled on for another week. Not much happened apart from the usual work rotations.
The past 3 weeks back at school have been pretty normal. About the only change that happened over the holidays was the addition of dodgy yellow blind-person-guiding mat things. Halfway up stairs.
Study-wise, fun things we've started include imaginary numbers... Oh what fun.
In other random news, I completed my amateur radio licence exam on the holidays and are now a licenced amateur. Hooray! A week or two ago was the monthly Midland Amateur Radio Club meeting which I tagged along to and got lent a radio and an antenna to play around with for a while.
And that pretty much sums up the entire month of July.
