We're bringing pink back
Well I thought it might be time for at another post after this incredibly long 'break' (...or laziness).
*rewinds the mental clock*
From my memory, or lack thereof, I shall try to piece together the last few months of my life into a short array of words that hopefully won't sound too boring or emo.
In regards to the previous 'real' post, it appears a certain unnamed hire company has finally given up and realised they are idiots, yay. Also on a similar topic, the mast on Discovery has fallen over twice in the past month or so.
Note to self: Masts held together with gaffer don't last forever (though 5 months is pretty good)... BeWiFi is also now an incorporated association so we can now slap people to give us free stuff :D. The next planned mayhem for us is to put a node up on top of the multistorey carpark in the centre of town.
Early November was the time of the VCE 3/4 exams, so hopefully I did well in them amongst all the vague, stupid and even dodgy where-was-this-on-the-course?!-head-explode-scream questions. I'm getting my results SMSed to me next Monday morning at supposedly 7am which, going on previous years, will probably end up being 7pm.
At some point in November I also went to see Dr Karl when he came up here to do a little talk, very funny man.
A couple of weeks ago I got my new CFA EAS pager, which are apparently worth about $800, in preparation for our move to Ballarat for dispatching and other comms stuff. Speaking of CFA, I might be going away for a few days up to the North East fires soon on a strike team.
Which kinda brings us to the last couple of days, school has finished for the year at last which the annual speech night last night. So many things got broken it wasn't funny, except for the purdy $10,000 per box (there was 6) line array we were using.
And now it's holiday time which will probably involve the usual work, work and more - work amongst escaping work to go to fire calls.
Oh and watch out for a pink flyer near you.
