Walking Wednesday
After waking up with some somewhat interesting SMSs from some friends, I went to work. Today was my day off from one work (Jaycar), so I was at my other work (Discovery). During the holidays now, Wednesdays, Sundays and some Saturdays are the only times I'm up at Discovery (Jaycar pay me better :P). I spent most of the morning walking around town picking up various stuff for work, including Jaycar. During lunch I got a few more chuckles from my tshirt, even a bunch of cops who were also having lunch. Most of the afternoon was finally fixing a bunch of exhibits I've been working on over the past few weeks. On the way home from work I met up with the er hot work experience chick again, on the bus, and had a chat.
At home I mostly chatted to friends about semi-deep and meaningful stuff and laughed at Telstra. I got a letter day saying, quote:
"Dear Mr Matt,
Since you moved your phone service away from Telstra, you may have been missing out on some great offers that could rate you money on STD calls and calls to Telstra Mobiles!"
Their "great offer" for STD calls was $1.50 for 20 mins after 7pm. Pity I pay $1 for 20 mins at the moment.
Monday and Tuesday were spent at Jaycar working, as will be tomorrow and Friday. Working there has been such a great experience for me, meeting so many different people, some who have started off with small hobbyist projects and are now doing some pretty big commercial stuff.
My next post will probably be on Saturday or Sunday since I'm working, though tomorrow night I'm hopefully going to the cinemas with a friend.
