Warm Wednesday
Another week goes by, and what a semi-crap week it has been. Summer seems to have arrived a bit earlier, the last few days have been scorchers - today hit 31C.
Nothing much of particular interest has happened over the past week. Thursday and Friday consisted of the usual classes. Saturday was spent working in the morning and then dashing up to Discovery at our 10th birthday celebrations. For the whole day admission was free, with a free barbecue lunch. When I walked in the door at 12:30, boy was it packed. I nearly had to fight through the crowd. Throughout the day we had the Mayor, random concillers and ministers from parliament, WIN TV, KLFM and various other 'important' people. At the end of the day we calculated that we had over 1200 through the doors and had over 300 people at any one time. It was very chaotic but worth it, we're hoping for a few new partnerships out of it.
Sunday was also spent working. Monday and Tuesday consisted of the usual classes, Tuesday being exceptionally hot.
Today I got around to fixing David Hasselhoff's home directory and mailbox. David Hasselhoff is a new user I have created on the network as a proof of concept of the complete lack of security as well as for humour and for the fun of it.
I could ramble on a bit longer but I really need more sleep, especially in this run-down state.

Oh, what fun we've had with Sir David Hasselhoff. And the best thing about it, the only thing that could get me in trouble is that I know about it. Along with about 20 other people! ^_^
Not to mention, their webpage is a total security fallout waiting to happen. No, let me rephrase that, the whole entire network is a security fallout happening.
